Our warehouse environment is casual, and our volunteers working together get a deep sense of personal accomplishment. Volunteers may be required to do some lifting, bending, walking and counting. Volunteers will walk an assembly line to create the meal bags. Please wear comfortable clothing and CLOSED TOE FLAT SHOES.
Individuals wishing to volunteer must sign up in advance. There will be a maximum of 20 volunteers per session.
Children ages 5+ are welcome to participate, any child ages 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian (new) consent form signed before participating. Please fill out the form by clicking here and emailing it to volunteer@servingourkids.org.
Food bags are delivered to designated schools on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday by our volunteer drivers. Volunteer drivers are required to have a valid Nevada driver’s license, pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and be able to do some lifting. Gas costs are absorbed by the volunteer drivers. Call our office at 702-685-2626 for becoming a SOK volunteer driver.
